Periódussága

Periódussága is a term that generally refers to a state of being periodic or having a cyclical nature. In scientific contexts, particularly in chemistry and physics, it is most commonly associated with the periodic law, which describes the recurring trends in the chemical and physical properties of the chemical elements when they are arranged in order of increasing atomic number. This arrangement is famously represented by the periodic table.

The concept of periódussága highlights that as elements are added to the periodic table, their properties do not change randomly but rather repeat in a predictable pattern. This pattern is observed in various properties such as atomic radius, ionization energy, electron affinity, and electronegativity.
