Partnerwork

Partnerwork is a collaborative approach in which two individuals work together to complete tasks or solve problems, sharing responsibility for the outcome. Forms and methods include pair work, dyadic dialogue, and reciprocal activities such as think-pair-share. In software development, pair programming is a well-known form of partnerwork where two developers share a workstation to write code.

Implementation typically involves clear goals, defined roles (for example, a driver who types and a navigator who guides), time-boxed work periods, and structured prompts. Regular rotation of roles helps ensure equal participation.
