Pansear

Pansear is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is one of the three elemental monkeys, alongside Panpour and Pansage, which evolve from the trio of starters from Generation V, though they are not starter Pokémon themselves. Pansear is a bipedal, monkey-like Pokémon with reddish-brown fur. Its head is topped with a crest of flame-like fur, and it has large, pointed ears. Its eyes are dark and round, and it has a short snout. Pansear's body is slender, with long arms and legs. Its hands and feet have three digits each. A distinguishing feature is the tuft of fur on its rear, which resembles a burning flame.

Pansear's primary ability is Blaze, which powers up Fire-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. Its Hidden Ability is Guts, which increases its Attack stat when afflicted by a status condition. Pansear is known to inhabit volcanic regions and areas with high temperatures, where it thrives. It is said to use the flames on its head to cook berries. Pansear evolves into Simsear starting at level 16. Simsear, in turn, evolves into an Infernape when exposed to a Fire Stone.

In terms of its behavior, Pansear is often depicted as being curious and energetic. It is known to be quite agile, capable of climbing trees and rocks with ease. Its fiery crest is not just for show; it can be used to intimidate opponents or to signal to other Pansear. It is generally a solitary Pokémon but can sometimes be found in small groups.
