Palettierlinien

Palettierlinien, also known as palletizing lines, are automated systems designed for the efficient stacking of goods onto pallets. These systems are crucial in logistics and manufacturing for preparing products for storage and transportation. A typical palettierlinie consists of several integrated components.

The process usually begins with a de-palletizer, which might be used to unstack incoming pallets if the line is part of an inbound process. For outbound preparation, the goods, often in cases or bags, are conveyed to a robotic or mechanical arm. This arm, equipped with a gripper or vacuum head, precisely picks up individual items and places them onto a waiting pallet according to a predefined pattern. This pattern, known as a stacking pattern, is optimized for stability and space utilization.

Once the pallet is fully stacked, it is typically conveyed to a wrapping machine, which encases the load in stretch film to secure it. Sensors and control systems monitor the entire process, ensuring accurate placement, speed, and safety. Palettierlinien significantly reduce manual labor, increase throughput, and minimize product damage compared to manual palletizing. They are found in diverse industries, including food and beverage, chemicals, and e-commerce fulfillment centers.
