Ostamia is a fictional sovereign state used in worldbuilding and speculative fiction. Located on the eastern seaboard of the continent of Valoria, it borders the inland state of Karthia to the north and opens to the Sea of Liri to the east. The capital is Ostford, and the largest city is Marehaven.

Ostamia covers a varied coastal plain with northern highlands and central river valleys. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild winters and moist summers. The population is about 5.8 million. The official language is Ostamian; Kalin and English are widely spoken as second languages.

The government is a constitutional parliamentary republic. The president serves as head of state with largely ceremonial duties, while a prime minister leads the cabinet and government. The unicameral legislature has about 72 seats. The judiciary is independent.
