Ossolano

Ossolano is a small comune and town in northern Italy. It has a resident population of about 2,800 people, whose residents are known as Ossolani. The town is situated in a valley of the northern Apennines, characterized by rolling hills, forests, and terraced fields. Its climate is temperate with cold winters and warm summers.

Ossolano is first documented in the 12th century, when it formed part of a local feudal estate. Over the following centuries it passed through the hands of regional powers before becoming part of the modern Italian state in the 19th century.
