Objektipõhist

Objektipõhist, also known as object-oriented, is a programming paradigm that is based on the concept of "objects". These objects can contain data, in the form of fields (often referred to as attributes or properties), and code, in the form of procedures (often referred to as methods). A feature of objects is that an object's procedures can access and often modify the data fields of the object with which they are associated (objects have a notion of "this" or "self").

In objektipõhist programming, computer programs are designed by making them out of objects that interact with one another. Object-oriented programming aims to implement real-world entities like inheritance, hiding data, polymorphism etc. in programming. The main aim of OOP is to bind together the data and the functions that operate on them so that no other part of the code can access this data except that function.

The most popular object-oriented programming languages include Java, C++, Python, and Ruby. These languages provide mechanisms for supporting object-oriented programming, including the definition of classes, inheritance, and polymorphism. Classes are used to create objects, which are instances of the class. Inheritance allows a new class to be based on an existing class, inheriting its fields and methods, and adding new ones. Polymorphism allows objects of different classes to be treated as objects of a common superclass.

Objektipõhist programming is widely used in software development due to its modularity, reusability, and ease of maintenance. It allows developers to create complex systems by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable objects.
