Another challenge is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of OFDM signals, which can lead to power inefficiency and distortion in the transmitter. Techniques such as clipping, filtering, and coding are used to mitigate these issues.

Despite these challenges, OFDM remains a cornerstone technology in modern wireless communications. Its combination of robustness, flexibility, and efficiency makes it a preferred choice for a wide range of applications, from high-speed internet access to broadcasting services. As wireless communication technologies continue to evolve, OFDM is expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of wireless networks.
