Nähttustes
Nähttustes is a neologism in Finnish that refers to the state or quality of being visible or perceivable in a given context. The term is formed from the verb näe, “to see,” with a nominal suffix that denotes a condition, making nähttustes a concept used to discuss visibility as a perceptual phenomenon rather than a concrete object.
In theoretical use, nähttustes covers how elements become noticeable to observers through the interaction of design,
Origins and reception of the term have been informal. Nähttustes appears mainly in Finnish design discourse
