Nucleophilist is a term that refers to a species that is attracted to positive charges or electron-deficient centers. In chemistry, this often describes a nucleophile, which is an atom or molecule that donates an electron pair to form a chemical bond in a reaction. Nucleophiles are typically rich in electrons, possessing lone pairs or pi bonds that can be shared.
