Nonfragmentation

Nonfragmentation refers to the state or process of remaining whole and undivided. It is the opposite of fragmentation, which implies breaking into smaller pieces or parts. In various contexts, nonfragmentation signifies integrity, coherence, and a lack of disunity.

In physics and materials science, nonfragmentation can describe the behavior of a substance under stress. A material that does not fragment will bend, deform, or fracture as a single unit rather than shattering into numerous pieces.
