Nettmodernisering refers to the modernization of an electrical power grid and, in some contexts, related telecommunications networks, to meet growing demand, decarbonization goals, and increasing reliability. It involves upgrading both transmission and distribution infrastructure, expanding capacity, and deploying information and communication technologies to enable real-time monitoring, control, and two-way power flows.
