Motståndstråd

Motståndstråd, also known as resistance wire, is a specific type of electrical conductor designed to have a higher electrical resistance than typical conductors like copper or aluminum. This increased resistance is a key property that allows it to be used in various applications where heat generation is desired or controlled electrical current is needed.

The primary characteristic of motståndstråd is its material composition. It is typically made from alloys specifically formulated to exhibit high resistivity. Common alloys include Nichrome, a blend of nickel and chromium, and Kanthal, which is an iron-chromium-aluminum alloy.
