Momotidae
Momotidae is a family of birds commonly known as motmots. These birds are found in tropical forests of Mexico, Central America, and South America. They are characterized by their brightly colored plumage, often featuring iridescent greens, blues, and reds, and their distinctive racquet-tipped tails. Motmots are generally medium-sized birds, with most species measuring between 15 and 20 centimeters in length, excluding the tail feathers.
