Matrica

Matrica, also known as matricaria, is a genus of flowering plants in the daisy family, Asteraceae. These plants are native to Europe and Western Asia and are widely cultivated for their aromatic foliage and daisy-like flowers. The most well-known species is Matricaria chamomilla, commonly called German chamomile, which has been used for centuries in traditional medicine.

The flowers of matricaria species typically have white ray florets surrounding a yellow, cone-shaped center. They are known for their pleasant, apple-like fragrance.
