Massbuilding refers to a training methodology and dietary approach aimed at increasing muscle mass and overall body weight. It is a common goal for individuals involved in bodybuilding, strength training, and athletic pursuits. The fundamental principle behind massbuilding is to create a caloric surplus, meaning consuming more calories than the body expends, to provide the energy and building blocks necessary for muscle hypertrophy.
