Macaussas
Macaussas is a term sometimes used to refer to the genus of macaques, which are Old World monkeys of the genus Macaca. Macaques are among the most widespread of all non-human primates, found across Asia and in North Africa. There are many different species of macaques, each with distinct physical characteristics and habitats. They are known for their social structures, often living in hierarchical troops. Their diet is omnivorous, consisting of fruits, seeds, leaves, insects, and sometimes small vertebrates.
