MRIkészülékekkel refers to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) devices. These are advanced medical imaging instruments that utilize strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the inside of the human body. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, MRI does not use ionizing radiation, making it a safer option for certain patient groups and for repeated examinations. The technology works by aligning the protons within the body's water molecules using a powerful magnet. Radiofrequency pulses are then applied, which knock these protons out of alignment. As the protons realign, they emit signals that are detected by the MRI scanner. Different tissues and structures within the body emit signals of varying strengths and at different rates, allowing the computer to construct detailed images based on these differences. MRI is particularly effective at visualizing soft tissues such as muscles, ligaments, tendons, the brain, and internal organs. It plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of conditions, including neurological disorders, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and musculoskeletal injuries. The examination process typically involves the patient lying on a movable table that slides into the cylindrical opening of the MRI scanner. During the scan, the machine generates loud knocking or buzzing noises, and patients are often asked to remain still to ensure image clarity.
