MPO4

MPO4, or Multipoint Control Unit Protocol version 4, is a communication protocol designed for multimedia conferencing systems, particularly in the context of video telephony and virtual meeting platforms. It is part of the broader H.323 standard, which defines protocols for multimedia communication over packet-switched networks like the internet. MPO4 specifically focuses on the control and coordination of multipoint conferences, where multiple participants join a single session.

The protocol operates by enabling a central control unit, known as a Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), to manage audio, video, and data streams between participants.
