MEMSDruck

MEMSDruck is a term that refers to the printing of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). MEMS are miniature devices that combine mechanical and electrical components, often fabricated on a silicon substrate. Traditional MEMS fabrication typically involves complex processes such as photolithography, etching, and deposition.

MEMSDruck aims to simplify and potentially democratize the fabrication of MEMS by employing additive manufacturing techniques, commonly known as 3D printing. This approach allows for the direct deposition of materials in a layer-by-layer fashion, enabling the creation of intricate 3D structures that are difficult or impossible to achieve with subtractive methods.
