Lysbilledprojektion, often translated as slide projection, is a method of projecting still images onto a surface, typically a screen. This process involves a light source that shines through a transparent slide, which contains the image. A lens system then focuses and magnifies this image, projecting it onto the viewing surface. Early slide projectors used oil lamps or incandescent bulbs as their light source, while modern projectors utilize halogen lamps or, more recently, LED or laser technology.
