Liimajäljet

Liimajäljet refers to the residue or marks left behind after adhesive materials are removed. These can manifest in various forms, such as sticky patches, discoloration, or even small particles of the original adhesive. The nature and severity of liimajäljet depend on several factors, including the type of adhesive used, the surface it was applied to, and the duration of its adhesion.

Common household adhesives like tapes, stickers, and labels are frequent culprits. When these are removed, particularly if they have been in place for a long time or exposed to heat or sunlight, they can leave behind a stubborn residue. Different surfaces react differently; porous materials like wood or fabric may absorb some of the adhesive, making removal more challenging than on smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass or metal.
