Liikuvatestit

Liikuvatestit, literally translated as movement tests, is Finnish for a family of assessments that involve observing or measuring movement to evaluate motor function, coordination, balance, and physical performance. There is no single standardized Liikuvatesti; the exact procedures vary by field and purpose.

In medical and rehabilitative contexts, liikuvatestit are used to assess neurological or musculoskeletal function, for example in conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, low back pain, or for evaluating fall risk in older adults. In sports science, they help assess functional performance, track rehabilitation progress, and inform training decisions.
