Liejua
Liejua is a term of Yoruba origin, derived from West Africa. It is used to describe a supposedly magical process intended to perform tasks ranging from physical impact to the creation of parts that would normally be beyond simple human construction. According to various accounts, practitioners performing liejua accumulate physical stress and wear on their body in the form of bruising, cracking of bones, and malfunction of internal organs as a result of channeling their energy towards specific goals.
