Ladustus is a fictional genus of bioluminescent cave-dwelling crustaceans used in speculative biology and science fiction narratives. In these contexts, Ladustus typically includes a single described species, Ladustus lumis, designated as the type species. The name is derived from a fictional regional name and the Latin root lumen, alluding to its glow.

Description: Adults are small, about 3–6 millimeters long, with an elongated, laterally compressed body typical of amphipod-like crustaceans. The dorsal surface is translucent, while ventral photogenic organs along the thorax and abdomen emit pale green or blue light. The exoskeleton is smooth with faint segmentation. The creature is described as having prominent antennae and fine, limb-like appendages adapted to navigating dark, flowing water in caves.

Habitat and ecology: Ladustus is imagined to inhabit freshwater cave streams and interstitial pools within limestone karst systems of the fictional region.
