LabelingReaktion is a term used to describe a labeling reaction, a chemical transformation in which a molecule is covalently modified by attaching a label—a detectable or functional tag such as a fluorescent dye, an isotope, or an affinity handle. The label facilitates visualization, tracking, quantification, or separation of the target molecule in experiments.
