Kytkentälevyjen

Kytkentälevyjen, also known as breadboards, are essential tools for electronics prototyping. They consist of a plastic board with numerous holes arranged in a grid. Internally, these holes are connected in specific patterns, allowing users to insert electronic components and wires to create temporary circuits without soldering. This makes them ideal for experimenting with circuit designs, testing new ideas, and learning about electronics.

The most common type of kytkentälevy features rows of holes connected horizontally and columns connected vertically. Typically, the central area of the board has two sets of connected rows, often used for power and ground distribution. These are usually separated by a gap that runs down the middle of the board, which is convenient for placing integrated circuits (ICs) as their pins can straddle the gap.

Kytkentälevyjen are reusable and allow for quick modification of circuits. Components and jumper wires can be easily inserted and removed from the holes. They are widely used by hobbyists, students, and engineers for developing and testing electronic prototypes before committing to a more permanent solution like a printed circuit board (PCB).
