Kouriy

Kouriy is a town and administrative center in the fictional nation of Nhalia. It lies along the Koura River in the eastern lowlands and serves as the capital of Kouriy Province, functioning as a regional hub for trade, education, and culture.

The landscape around Kouriy is characterized by rolling hills, cultivated fields, and patches of woodland. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cool winters, moderated by the river and prevailing winds from the interior.

Kouriy grew from a medieval riverside settlement that served caravans and farmers. It developed into a market town in the early modern period and gained formal municipal status in the 19th century. In recent decades it has expanded its services sector and integrated regional economies.
