Kittenless

Kittenless is a term used to describe a state of not having kittens. This can refer to a female cat that has not yet reached sexual maturity, has been spayed, or is not currently pregnant. The term can also be used by cat owners who choose not to have their cats reproduce, for various reasons.

Reasons for a cat being kittenless include natural biological factors, such as age or reproductive health. More commonly, kittenless status is a result of human intervention. Spaying, a surgical procedure that removes a cat's ovaries and uterus, is a permanent method of preventing pregnancy and thus, kittens. This is a widely recommended practice for pet owners due to its health benefits for the cat and its role in population control.
