Jästsvampinfektion, also known as candidiasis, is a fungal infection caused by the yeast Candida. This infection can occur in various parts of the body, including the mouth, throat, vagina, and intestines. In individuals with diabetes or HIV/AIDS, regular monitoring and prompt treatment of any signs of infection are crucial.
