Járműkategóriák is a Hungarian term referring to vehicle classifications. These categories are used for various purposes, including registration, licensing, insurance, and taxation. Generally, vehicle classifications are based on factors such as size, weight, engine type, number of wheels, and intended use.

Common vehicle categories include motorcycles, passenger cars, vans, trucks, buses, and trailers. Motorcycles are typically two-wheeled vehicles with or without sidecars, often with engine capacities exceeding a certain limit. Passenger cars are designed primarily for transporting people and usually have four wheels. Vans and trucks are generally distinguished by their cargo-carrying capacity and design.
