Jokamiehenoikeus, commonly translated as Everyman's Right, is a Finnish concept that grants people broad access to nature for recreation. It allows roaming on most land and waters, picking wild berries and mushrooms for personal use, and camping temporarily in undeveloped areas, all while respecting the rights of landowners and the environment. The right applies to forests, fields, and lakes across Finland but excludes private gardens, cultivated fields, and protected or fenced areas without permission.
