JOCV
JOCV stands for Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers. It is a volunteer program under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) that dispatches young Japanese volunteers to developing countries to support local development efforts and foster mutual understanding. The program began in the 1960s as part of Japan's official development assistance and remains one of JICA's flagship volunteer initiatives.
