Izotermy
Izotermy are lines on a weather map that connect points of equal temperature. These lines are also known as isotherms. They are a fundamental tool used by meteorologists to visualize and analyze temperature patterns across a geographical area. By observing the spacing and curvature of isotherms, forecasters can identify temperature gradients, the direction of temperature change, and the location of air masses with different temperatures.
