IvarBg

IvarBg is the online moniker of Ivar Dimitrov, a Bulgarian professional gamer and content creator born on 12 March 1994 in Sofia. He began his career in 2012 by participating in local tournaments for the first-person shooter game Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive. In 2015 he joined the roster of the now-defunct team Team Xtreme, where he quickly earned a reputation as a skilled rifler and in‑game leader. Following the disbandment of Team Xtreme in 2017, IvarBg signed with the regional outfit CyberRiot, competing in the CS:GO Major qualifiers for the 2018 Helsinki Major. Although the team did not qualify for the main event, Ivar’s performance attracted attention from several international teams.

In 2019 Ivar transitioned to streaming full‑time, broadcasting primarily on Twitch. His channel, @IvarBg, averages 1,200 concurrent viewers during peak times and features a mix of competitive gameplay, coaching streams, and community Q&A. His growth on the platform was bolstered by collaborations with other prominent Bulgarian and Eastern European streamers, as well as participation in charity events. Ivar has developed an instructional series titled “CS:GO Basics with IvarBg,” which has amassed over 400,000 views on YouTube and is often cited as one of the most accessible guides for beginners.

In addition to gaming, Ivar is an advocate for mental health in esports. He regularly speaks at industry conferences and participates in outreach programs aimed at helping younger players manage stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle. He maintains a personal blog that discusses topics ranging from game strategy to life balance for professional gamers.
