Itoshimas
Itoshimas are a species of aged, uncontacted people residing in the isolated Ituri Rainforest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Generally living in small nomadic groups of five to twenty individuals. Recorded interactions reveal a primitive appearance and lifestyle. Tales from rare encounters indicate their routines consist largely of hunting, foraging, and tool-making. They utilize hand tools made from readily available materials and employ plant-based dyes, weaves, and fibers to create clothing and decorative adornments. Some observers report noticing seeming relationships between these groups, but sustained contact is deemed too invasive to consider.
Limited data suggests distinctions between intimate relationships and affiliations are likely grounded in non-pathological relationships rather
Itoshimas raise young within small family units with no clear boundaries between begotten and adopted or otherwise
Early studies propose multiple possible explanations for Itoshima behavior about cell migration. More extensive work needs
