Irenidae
Irenidae is a family of Old World babblers, a group of passerine birds. The family is primarily found in tropical Asia. The Irenidae family currently consists of three genera and seven species. These birds are known for their vibrant plumage, particularly in the genus Irena, which includes the Asian Fairy-bluebird. The other genera, Aegithina and Malacopteron, contain smaller, more subtly colored birds often referred to as ioras and wren-babblers respectively.
The diet of Irenidae members varies, with some species being primarily frugivorous, while others are insectivorous.
