IoTProjekte refers to projects that involve the Internet of Things, the network of physical objects embedded with sensors, software and connectivity that enables them to collect and exchange data. The main idea of an IoTProjekt is to create a system in which devices communicate automatically, often in real‑time, to collect information, control actuators or provide insights for users and businesses.

Typical components of an IoTProjekt include sensors (temperature, humidity, motion, light, etc.), actuators (relays, motors, LEDs), a communication bridge (Wi‑Fi, LoRaWAN, NB‑IoT, Ethernet or cellular), a microcontroller or single‑board computer, a cloud or edge computing element, and a user interface such as a mobile app or web dashboard. The data flow usually follows a pipeline from first‑layer sensors to a gateway, then to a cloud platform where it is processed, visualised and archived.
