Interseksualitet
Interseksualitet, or intersexuality, refers to a range of conditions in which an individual is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that does not fit typical definitions of male or female. This may involve variations in chromosomes, gonadal tissue, internal genitalia, external genitalia, or hormone levels. Common intersex traits include differences in sex development (DSDs) such as androgen insensitivity syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, gonadal dysgenesis, and chromosomal mosaics like Turner or Klinefelter variants.
