Inteligjenca
Inteligjenca is the Albanian term for intelligence, defined as the capacity to learn from experience, reason, solve problems, and adapt to new situations. It applies to humans and animals and is increasingly used to describe intelligent systems, including computers and robots. Etymology: the word derives from the Latin intelligentia, from intelligere “to understand,” entering Albanian through historical contact with Romance languages. In modern Albanian, forms include inteligjencë (the abstract quality) and inteligjent (adjective).
