Inrushlimiterande refers to the process or device used to limit the initial high current, known as inrush current, that flows into electrical equipment when it is first turned on. This phenomenon is common in many electrical and electronic devices, particularly those with inductive or capacitive loads, such as transformers, motors, and power supplies. The inrush current can be significantly higher than the normal operating current, potentially causing damage to the equipment or the power source.

Inrush current occurs due to the initial charging of capacitors or the magnetic field buildup in inductors.
