IngramSpark

IngramSpark is a self-publishing platform from Ingram Content Group that provides print-on-demand (POD) and digital distribution services for independent publishers, small presses, and self-published authors. It was created to give publishers access to Ingram’s wholesale network and to streamline publishing and distribution without large upfront inventory.

Publishers upload print-ready manuscript and cover files for paperback and hardcover editions, choose trim sizes, set pricing, and manage metadata such as title, author, description, and keywords. IngramSpark supports ISBN assignment; publishers may use their own ISBNs or obtain one through IngramSpark. The platform also distributes eBooks to major retailers and libraries.

Once a title is published, it is made available through Ingram’s wholesale network to bookstores, online retailers, and libraries worldwide. IngramSpark complements other Ingram services by offering global reach beyond direct-to-consumer channels.

Fees include a title setup fee and ongoing annual maintenance per title; additional charges may apply for eBook conversion, proofs, and format-specific options. Royalties are earned on sales via distribution channels according to IngramSpark terms, with returns and fulfillment handled through the POD process.
