Immunityongelmia, a Finnish term roughly translating to "immunity problems," refers to a broad category of conditions affecting the immune system's ability to function correctly. These problems can manifest in several ways, broadly categorized as either overactivity (autoimmune diseases and allergies) or underactivity (immunodeficiency disorders).

Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own healthy tissues.
