Ikkefluorerte refers to dental sealants that do not contain fluoride. Traditional dental sealants are thin plastic coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth. While many sealants incorporate fluoride into their formulation, some are designed without it.

The application process for both is the same, involving cleaning the tooth surface, etching it to create a porous surface for adhesion, applying the sealant material, and then hardening it with a light.
