Ihonlaastarit

Ihonlaastarit, commonly known as adhesive bandages or plasters, are medical devices used to cover and protect minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, and blisters. They typically consist of a sterile absorbent pad attached to a sticky adhesive material that holds the pad in place against the skin. The adhesive side is usually covered by a protective film that is removed before application.

The primary function of an ihonlaastari is to prevent infection by creating a physical barrier against dirt, bacteria, and other contaminants.
