Ialdabaoth

Ialdabaoth, also spelled Yaldabaoth, is a figure in Gnostic cosmology frequently identified as the demiurge, the creator and ruler of the material world. In Sethian and related traditions, he is portrayed as a lower, ignorant archon who fashions the physical cosmos and humanity while remaining unaware of the higher, transcendent God.
