Höhr-Grenzhausen is a town in the Westerwald district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Westerwald hills, approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Koblenz. The town is known for its long-standing tradition of ceramics and pottery. It is a significant center for the production of stoneware and has a renowned pottery school, the Fachhochschule Grenzhausen, which attracts students from around the world. The Museum of European Ceramic Art (MEK) is also located in Höhr-Grenzhausen, showcasing a diverse collection of ceramic works.
