Hymnsinging
Hymnsinging is the practice of singing hymns, religious songs that express praise, devotion, or doctrinal beliefs. While most commonly associated with Christian worship, hymnody exists in other traditions as well. In many churches, hymnsinging is a form of congregational participation, though it may be led by organ, piano, choir, or a cappella ensembles, and occurs within liturgical, para-liturgical, or devotional settings.
