Homologisierung

Homologisierung, also the process of homologation, refers to the official recognition or certification that a product, system, or process complies with specific technical standards, regulations, or requirements set by a recognized authority. This term is commonly used in engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory contexts to ensure safety, performance, and interoperability.

The process typically involves submitting a product or system for evaluation by a designated body, such as a government agency, industry association, or accredited testing organization.
