HighDRI

HighDRI, or High Dynamic Range Imaging, is a technique used in photography and videography to capture a wider range of light and color than standard digital imaging can handle. This method allows for the preservation of details in both the brightest and darkest parts of an image, resulting in a more realistic and detailed representation of a scene. HighDRI works by taking multiple exposures of the same scene at different exposure levels and then combining these images into a single high dynamic range image. This process involves merging the data from the different exposures to create a final image with a greater dynamic range than what a single exposure could achieve.

The technique has several applications in various fields. In photography, HighDRI is used to create stunning landscapes, portraits, and architectural shots by capturing the full range of light and shadow in a scene. In filmmaking, it is employed to enhance the visual quality of scenes, especially in high-contrast environments like sunsets or indoor-outdoor transitions.
